ELS Language Centers/Oklahoma City

Description

ELS Language Centers offers a group-intensive course that is divided into 12 levels, from beginning to highly advanced. Each level takes four weeks to complete. There are two basic programs: Intensive English = 30 hours/week; Semi-Intensive English = 20 hours/week. Skill Enhancement Classes include TOEFL Preparation, Multi-Media Language Lab, Business English, Current Events and Idiomatic English.

Four-week sessions start every month throughout the year. A calendar of start dates may be found on our website at www.els.edu.

Location

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma's capital, is small enough to be friendly, yet large enough to offer a variety of cultural, civic, religious, entertainment and sports events. Located in the middle of the Great American West, the City also offers glimpses into the unique culture of Native American life. Learn about American Indian and Western culture through local festivals, pow wows and rodeos, and the Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Museum. Oklahoma City is one of the least expensive major U.S. cities to live in. The population is about one million. Oklahoma City University (OCU), noted for its MBA program, has a student body representing 40 U.S. states and 63 countries. Students admitted to OCU may attend University classes for credit concurrently with their ELS Language Centers program once they reach Level 110 or above. ELS Language Centers graduates who enroll in OCU receive 3 credit hours for completing Level 112.
