American Language Academy Learn English in a college-oriented program for English-as-a-Second-Language students and enjoy our beautiful twenty-six acre campus in the Midwood section of Brooklyn. You will have access to: modern BC Library and Library Café; Music Conservatory concerts; recreational facilities discount; free tutoring. Small classes with multiple levels are available. Highly professional, dedicated instructors are committed to each student’s progress. Courses are offered at ten levels of proficiency from basic to intensive American English communication, and full-time TOEFL and college preparation. You will develop fluency, accuracy, and confidence in the written and oral communication skills. You will study grammar, writing, reading, vocabulary, and learn how to speak English correctly, practice pronunciation and study American idioms.
