Institute for International StudiesDescriptionInstitute for International Studies provides intensive English instruction with a TOEFL-waived option to Mission College and West Valley College. We have a 1-stop office that serves all your needs from intensive English to undergraduate study at Mission College. In addition, we offer dual admission to the intensive language program and Mission College, which is reflected on your immigration documents.
LocationWe are located in the Silicon Valley high-tech region, just 45 minutes from beautiful San Francisco. Santa Clara is a friendly and safe neighbor of San Jose. Mission College is minutes from SJC, San Jose Int'l Airport and 45 minutes from San Francisco International Airport.
Teaching QualificationsAll instructors possess a Masters degree and at least 5 years of experience. Many have 20 or more years of experience.

We do not have our own homestay coordinator. However, students should go to http://www.isphomestays.com to reach our highly respected, independent homestay coordinator. Students who do not a homestay should contact our office for advice. Student ServicesWe have a friendly, 1-stop office that provides all advising and immigration services. There are monthly activities for all of the students in the program. Educational Service OpportunitiesStudents who complete our intensive program do not need a TOEFL score to enter Mission College's degree programs. We also have no-TOEFL with West Valley College, De Anza College and Foothill College. TransportationWe are sorry that we cannot provide airport pickup. However, we can provide information on convenient shuttle service. Remember, we are next door to San Jose Int'l Airport. |
